The European Central Bank (ECB) has published an opinion concerning the proposed Regulation on a framework for the recovery and resolution of central counterparties (CCPs).

The ECB strongly supports the Commission’s initiative to establish a dedicated Union framework for the recovery and resolution of CCPs. It also agrees with the main thrust of the proposed Regulation but also sets out areas where further enhancements could be made.
