The European Banking Authority (EBA) has updated its questions and answers (Q&As) on the single rulebook, which relate to the CRD IV package of reforms: the CRD IV Directive, the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) and the related technical standards and guidelines developed by the EBA. The 5 updated Q&As cover:

  • instructions and COREP (common reporting) validation rules, under article 99 of the CRR;
  • instructions regarding unmatched positions, foreign exchange risk, under article 99(1) of the CRR;
  • forbearance – exit criteria, under article 99(4) of the CRR;
  • asset encumbrance template, under article 1 of the CRR; and
  • reporting market value in liabilities resulting from secured lending and capital market driven transactions as defined in article 192 of the CRR.
