The European Banking Authority (EBA) has issued a revised list of validation rules in its implementing technical standards (ITS) on supervisory reporting under the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR). The revisions come in the form of:

  • validation rules (2.0 DPM); and
  • validation rules (2.1 DPM).

A related press release explains that the list highlights those rules that have been deactivated either for incorrectness or for triggering IT problems. The EBA informs national authorities throughout the EU that data submitted in accordance with the ITS should not be validated against the set of deactivated rules.

The supervisory reporting section of the EBA’s website indicates that the updated information relates to Framework Release 09/2013 (applicable as of March 2014) and Framework Release 03/2014 (applicable as of September 2014).
