The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published a final report on recommendations on the equivalence of confidentiality regimes of third countries with respect to Article 116(6) CRD. The recommendations will be translated into the official EU languages. Member State competent authorities need to report whether they comply with the recommendations within two months of the translations being published. The recommendations will apply from 12 January 2017.
