The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published revised guidelines on the data collection exercise regarding high earners and on the remuneration benchmarking exercise. The revised guidelines repeal those that were published on 27 July 2012.
The revised guidelines apply to the data to be collected for performance during 2013. This will allow the EBA to analyse the development of remuneration policies in light of the changes introduced by the CRD IV and, in particular, of those related to the limitation of the variable remuneration to 100% of the fixed remuneration (200% with shareholders’ approval).
