The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published final draft regulatory technical standards (RTS) and implementing technical standards (ITS) on the functioning of colleges of supervisors in accordance with Article 51 and 116 of the CRD IV Directive.

Colleges of supervisors are a mechanism for planning and performing supervisory tasks in the EU banking sector in a coordinated manner. The draft RTS specify the general conditions for the establishment and functioning of colleges of supervisors. Alongside, the draft ITS establish procedures to structure and facilitate the interaction and cooperation between a consolidating supervisor and relevant Member State competent authorities.
