The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published final draft implementing technical standards (ITS) amending the European Commission’s Implementing Regulation on supervisory reporting of institutions under the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR).

A press release accompanying the ITS explains that the ITS include minor changes to templates and instructions that were necessary to reflect some of the answers published in the EBA’s single rulebook Q&As, most recently updated on 25 July 2014, as well as to correct legal references and other clerical errors. The templates and instructions are set out in Annexes 1 to 7 to the ITS. The amendments are expected to apply for reporting as of December 2014.

The press release states that, while the validation rules and data point model are expected to no longer be part of the ITS on supervisory reporting of institutions (due to the proposed deletion of Annexes 14 and 15 of the supervisory reporting of institutions Regulation), they will remain available for download on the EBA’s website along with the applicable taxonomy, which the EBA expects will be published in August 2014.
