The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published a consultation paper on draft Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) on additional monitoring metrics for liquidity, which consists of reintroducing a maturity ladder in line with the reporting requirements laid down in the Commission’s Delegated Act on the liquidity coverage ratio. The revised ITS aim at providing Member State competent authorities with harmonised information on an institution’s liquidity risk profile, taking into account the nature, scale and complexity of its activities. The draft ITS will be finalised in March – April 2017, with the application of the revised reporting requirements in March 2018.

The deadline for comments on the consultation paper is 2 January 2017.
