On 21 December 2018, HM Treasury published a draft of the Financial Conglomerates and Other Financial Groups (Amendments etc) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019. The draft supplements the explanatory information to the draft Regulations, which was published on 22 October 2018 (our blog is here). The draft Regulations identify and amend deficiencies within the text of the Financial Conglomerates Directive to ensure that the Financial Conglomerates and Other Financial Groups Regulations 2004 remain operative in a UK-only context post-exit.
