Disclosure Regulation and Low Carbon Benchmarks Regulation published in OJ

On 9 December 2019, there was published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJ):

Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 November 2019 on sustainability‐related disclosures in the financial services sector (the Disclosure Regulation); and
Regulation (EU) 2019/2089 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 November 2019 amending Regulation (EU) 2016/1011 as regards EU Climate Transition Benchmarks, EU Paris-aligned Benchmarks and sustainability-related disclosures for benchmarks (the Low Carbon Benchmarks Regulation).

The Disclosure Regulation will enter into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the OJ (29 December 2019) and will apply from 10 March 2021. The Low Carbon Benchmarks Regulation will enter into force on the day after publication in the OJ.
