The Council of the EU has published a Corrigendum to MiFID II that sets out certain proposed amendments to obvious errors in a number of language versions of the Directive. The English language version of the amendment can be found on page 7 of the Corrigendum. The amendment concerns a minor amendment to the definition of “structured deposit” which can be found in article 4(1)(43). The front of the Corrigendum states that Member States have 8 days to object to the amendment.
