The Council of the EU has published the adopted text of the MAD II legislative package which consists of:
- the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR); and
- the Directive on criminal sanctions for market abuse (CSMAD).
Both MAR and CSMAD are expected to be published in the Official Journal of the EU in June 2014.
