There has been published The Consumer Credit Act 1974 (Green Deal) (Amendment) Order 2014.
This Order relates to the Green Deal energy efficiency scheme. It makes some amendments to the Consumer Credit Act 1974 (CCA) for the purposes of the Green Deal to clarify:
- the circumstances in which a green deal is treated as a consumer credit agreement;
- the persons who are to be treated as the “debtor” in respect of a green deal plan in relation to specified sections of the CCA; and
- the persons who are to be treated as the “creditor” in respect of a green deal plan.
