The FCA Handbook has been updated with details of new forms and amendments or deletions of existing forms. The changes to the forms will take effect on 1 April 2014 when the FCA assumes responsibility for the regulation of consumer credit from the OFT.

Most of the changes can be found in the Supervision (SUP) manual, the Dispute Resolution: Complaints sourcebook (DISP) and the Credit Union sourcebook (CRED). Among other things, the forms relate to:

  • variation of permission;
  • complaints reporting;
  • appointed representative appointment and notification;
  • applications for certain directions under the Consumer Credit Act 1974; and
  • auditor’s client assets reports.
