On 18 March 2016, we blogged that the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) published a speech given by Guy Debelle (former Assistant Governor (Financial Markets), now Deputy Governor at  Reserve Bank of Australia) concerning the development of the global code of conduct for the foreign exchange market (the Code).

BIS has now published a further speech given by Mr. Debelle on finalising and publishing the complete Code. Mr Debelle notes that the complete Code will be publicly released on 25 May 2017 and will cover an entire FX industry from sell side and buy side to non-bank participants and platforms.
