There has been published in the Official Journal of the EU, Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2241 of 6 December 2017 on the extension of the transitional periods related to own funds requirements for exposures to central counterparties set out in the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) and the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR). Article 1 of the Implementing Regulation notes that the 15 month periods referred to in Article 497(2) of the CRR and in the second subparagraph of Article 89(5a) of EMIR, are extended by an additional six months until 15 June 2018.
