There has been published in the Official Journal of the EU (OJ) the European Commission Implementing Decision on the equivalence of the regulatory framework of the US for central counterparties that are authorised and supervised by the Commodity Futures and Trading Commission to the Regulation on over-the-counter derivatives, central counterparties and trade repositories.
The Implementing Decision comes into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the OJ (i.e. 5 April 2016).
