The European Commission has published a Delegated Regulation that it has adopted with regard to regulatory technical standards (RTS) for specifying the general conditions for the functioning of colleges of supervisors.

The Delegated Regulation sets out rules specifying the general conditions of the functioning of supervisory colleges established in accordance with articles 51 and 116 of the CRD IV Directive. The provisions in the act is organised in three main chapters: (i) establishment and functioning of colleges; (ii) planning and coordination of supervisory activities in going concern situations; and (iii) planning and coordination of supervisory activities in preparation for and during emergency situations.

The Delegated Regulation enters into force 20 days after its publication in the Official Journal of the EU.
