There has been published the Commission Delegated Regulation supplementing MiFIR with regard to definitions, transparency, portfolio compression and supervisory measures on product intervention and positions. The accompanying annex sets out the data to be provided for the purpose of determining a liquid market for shares, depositary receipts, exchange traded funds and certificates. The Delegated Regulation will enter into force 20 days after its publication in the Official Journal of the EU. It shall apply from the date referred to in the second paragraph of Article 55 of MiFIR, and as it stands, this is 3 January 2017. However, Article 23 shall apply from the date of entry into force of this Regulation.
