The European Parliament has announced that its Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs has voted to adopt by 49 votes to 3 (with 6 abstentions) its draft report on the proposed Regulation on the recovery and resolution of central counterparties. Three-way negotiations between the European Parliament, the Council and the Commission on the rules will follow, once Member States agree their common stance.
