The European Parliament’s Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee has published a report on the proposed Regulation amending the SEPA Migration Regulation. The report contains a draft European Parliament legislative resolution, and an annex explaining the background to the proposed Regulation. The annex also notes that for reasons of continuity and legal certainty, the proposed Regulation should enter into force as a matter of urgency and apply, with retrospective effect, from 31 January 2014.
