The Regulation on indices used as benchmarks in financial instruments and financial contracts or to measure the performance of investment funds (the Benchmarks Regulation) has been published in the Official Journal of the EU (OJ). The Benchmarks Regulation enters into force on the day following that of its publication in the OJ. Most of its provisions apply from 1 January 2018.
