The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (Basel Committee) has published a revised version of its FAQs on the definition of capital. Updated material is marked in italics.‎ In addition, two flowcharts have been added to the annex to the document. The flowcharts are designed to aid understanding of the application of the Basel III transitional arrangements to capital instruments issued by banks.
