There was published on the legislation.gov.uk website, the Bank of England and Financial Services Act 2016 (Commencement No 4 and Saving Provision) Regulations 2017. Regulation 2 brings into force provisions of the Act that relate to, among others, the transfer of the PRA’s functions to the Bank of England (BoE) and the establishment of a new committee of the BoE, the Prudential Regulation Committee, with responsibility for exercising the BoE’s functions in its role as the PRA.  Regulation 3(1) brings into force section 16 of the Act for the purpose of introducing paragraphs 50(6) of Schedule 2 of the Act. The explanatory note to the Regulations explains that these will be the final annual accounts of the PRA. The Regulations will enter into force on 1 March 2017.
