The Financial Stability Board (FSB) has published a consultative document on guiding principles of the internal loss absorbing capacity of global systemically important banks (G-SIBs). The consultation follows on from the FSB’s work on the total loss-absorbing capacity (TLAC) standard, which it finalised in November 2015. The FSB seeks views on a high-level set of guiding principles intended to assist G-SIBs’s crisis management groups in implementing internal TLAC mechanisms. The deadline for comments on the consultative document is 10 February 2017.
