There has been published in the Official Journal of the EU ten European Commission Implementing Decisions on equivalence of the regulatory regimes of certain third countries for central counterparties and trading venues under the European Market Infrastructure Regulation. The Commission has determined that the following jurisdictions have met the EU’s regulatory standards:

  • India;
  • New Zealand;
  • Brazil;
  • Dubai International Financial Centre;
  • United Arab Emirates; and
  • Japan.
