On 11 February 2021, the European Commission published a Delegated Regulation amending Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/2361 as regards the arrangements for the payment of contributions to the administrative expenditures of the Single Resolution Board.

Under Regulation (EU) No 806/2014, the Single Resolution Board (SRB) has an autonomous budget which is not part of the EU budget, including a part for its administrative expenditures, consisting of annual contributions raised from the entities to which that Regulation applies.  Article 65(5) of Regulation (EU) No 806/2014, gives the Commission the power to adopt delegated acts on contributions to the administrative expenditures of the SRB including the manner in which the amount of the contributions is calculated, and the way in which they are to be paid.

In September 2017 the Commission adopted Delegated Regulation (EU) No 2017/2361 on the final system of contributions to the administrative expenditures of the SRB. In December 2019 the European Central Bank amended Regulation (EU) No 806/2014 changing the levying system for supervisory fees. The now published Delegated Regulation makes amendments to Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/2361 so that it takes into account the adjustments to Regulation (EU) No 806/2014.

The Delegated Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
