On 18 September 2026, a correction to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities etc) (Amendment) (No 2) Order 2025 (the Order) was laid before Parliament and published on legislation.gov.uk.
The correction makes minor amendments to article 2(4) of the Order, replacing “the Act” with “the 2000 Act” in two cases. The Order amended the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities etc) (Amendment) Order 2025, which provided for certain buy-now-pay-later agreements to become regulated credit agreements.
