On 10 September 2025, the European Parliament (EP) published the text that it had adopted at first reading of a European Parliament legislative resolution on the proposal for a Regulation of the EP and of the Council amending Regulation (EU) No 909/2014 as regards a shorter settlement cycle in the Union. The EP instructs its President to forward its position to the Council, the European Commission and Member State national parliaments.
