On 10 December 2024, the Treasury Committee published various letters relating to its Sexism in the City inquiry, on which it reported in March 2024.  

The letters include:

  • A set of letters from the chair of the Treasury Committee, Dame Meg Hillier MP, asking for updates on progress made against the recommendations set out in the Sexism in the City report.
  • A letter from the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) to the Treasury Committee (dated 2 December 2024) providing the PRA’s update.
  • A letter from the Economic Secretary to the Treasury (dated 9 December 2024) providing an update on behalf of HM Treasury.
  • A letter from the Financial Conduct Authority (dated 29 November 2024) providing the FCA’s update on its work relating to barriers faced by women working in financial services.
