On 24 October 2024, the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) issued its H1 2024 complaints data.
The key finding for H1 2024 is that the FOS received a total of 133,019 complaints compared to 93,114 complaints in the same period in 2023. The only sector that saw a year-on-year increase in complaints was banking and credit which remains the most complained about sector.
