- 26 April 2024 – On 29 February 2024, the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 (Commencement No. 2 and Transitional Provision) Regulations 2024 were made. These Regulations are the second commencement regulations made under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023. They commence certain provisions in Parts 1 to 5 of that Act. Regulation 4 of these Regulations comes into force on 26 April 2024. This covers cryptoasset (confiscation orders and civil recovery) and money laundering (information orders).
