The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published the final set of templates and instructions for its quantitative impact study on the definition of default under the Capital Requirements Regulation.

The EBA notes that the information submitted will help it estimate the impact of the requirements set out in its proposed draft regulatory technical standards and guidelines aiming to harmonise the definition of default across the EU.

The deadline for participating institutions to submit their completed templates to their respective competent authorities is 10 December 2015.
